A small shop with
big convictions.
Brewly started in 2017 when founder Mara Okonkwo returned from a sourcing trip to Ethiopia with a suitcase full of green beans and a clear idea: coffee should taste like where it came from.
We opened our first 400-square-foot space on Burnside Street with a single espresso machine, two bar stools, and a hand-painted menu board. Seven years later, the menu board is still hand-painted.
Single Origin
Every bean is traceable to a specific farm. We know the altitude, the harvest date, and the farmer's name.
Seasonal Menus
Our menu shifts with the harvest calendar. What's on the board today won't be there in three months.
Community First
We host cuppings, workshops, and open mic nights. This space belongs to the neighbourhood.
